Star Citizen is still light years away from its official release, but Roberts Space Industries has provided a free-to-play peek at the game, which runs through to October 30.

If you want to jump in, use the promotional code FALL2016 - which will let you download the Star Citizen alpha. Once you've got it, you'll be able to fly around in the F7C-M Super Hornet spacefighter, not too bad at all.

There have been other free fly events for Star Citizen in the past, but the new one has arrived just as Star Citizen gets closer to $130 million in crowdfunding.
