This week we saw the release of the long awaited PlayStation VR as well as accessories and a few games. Let's say you wanted to not just get your toes wet in PSVR, but take a full on cannonball and get everything they have to offer. GameStop says that'll be $888.

It's all packaged in their new "PlayStation VR Ultimate Game Bundle" which gets you basically all the accessories and games available at the moment for the VR system. Packaged in the Ultimate Game Bundle are seven titles, which are technically not all the games available for the PS VR, but they are all the games that come in a physical box with a disc. Other games available at this time are purely a digital download.

So what exactly is in the PlayStation VR bundle? Besides everything you need to get it working (well... minus a PS4 that is) there are seven games and a 2-pack of motion controllers (brand new condition).

Hardware:

  • PlayStation VR Headset
  • PlayStation 4 Camera
  • PlayStation Move Motion Controllers - 2 Pack

Games:

  • Until Dawn: Rush of Blood VR
  • DriveClub VR
  • EVE: Valkyrie VR
  • Battlezone VR
  • Loading Human: Chapter 1
  • PlayStation VR Worlds
  • RIGS Mechanized Combat League VR
  • Batman: Arkham VR

So, is it worth getting all the PS VR has to offer? The games themselves would add up to $330 if bought separately and the hardware for $560, which adds up to $890. This bundle is $1 cheaper than buying everything separately. Congratulations, GameStop saved you a buck if you wanted to buy it all. Well, that and you save time having to purchase everything separately which is probably worth more than a buck saved. If VR is an obsession or you want to impress people, go for it... otherwise buy the headset separately and try out a few games before cannonballing in.
