Crotale takes the lead with a new WR!

There's been yet another huge overclocking success reported over at NordicHardware earlier today. In participation at their "Swedish Performance Championship" a Robert "Crotale" Kihlberg has just broken his own previous world record within the percentual overclocking catagory. He's taken a 1.4GHz Celeron M processor and clocked the absolute shananigans out of it, resulting in a whopping 175% overclock.

 

There's a few more details found here folks.

 

When we speak of Robert "Crotale" Kihlberg and our Performance Championship it's pretty obvious that we're talking about the category Percentual Overclocking, especially as he is the reigning champion. Last year Robert shocked everyone by overclocking a 1.4GHz Celeron M processor to 3.75GHz, which landed him the winning trophy with the highest score of the competition at 168.2%. This weekend Robert has submitted his first result for this year's championship and what a submission! Robert seems to have found a new 1.4GHz Celeron M that has even more potential than last year's processor and the result he has published is at 175%!
