| Posted: Nov 17, 2005 2:33 am

OCZ have further extended their 2GB memory kit lineup with the new "Gamer Extreme XTC" series, focused primarily toward serious gamers and offered in two different speeds of PC-3200 and PC-4000. The PC-3200 modules run at their rated speed with rather sweet timings of 2-3-3-8, whilst the PC-4000 modules cruise along at 3-4-3-8.

For further details, check out OCZ's official announcement here, and also the PC-3200 / PC-4000 product pages.

"Our goal is to constantly improve our products while maintaining the lowest possible price point for our customers," commented Dr. Michael Schuette, VP of Technology Development, OCZ Technology. "The latest result of our efforts is the new GX-XTC PC-3200 and PC-4000 line of modules, which come in high density 2GB Dual Channel kit configurations. All of these new products benefit from OCZ's honeycomb design XTC heatspreaders, which provide enhanced thermal management, especially in high density system memory configurations."
