RE: Watch Out For GeCube Reviews on Other Websites

Our mate Gabriel Torres of Hardware Secrets let us know something which if proven true is very disturbing. He claims in his blog that GeCube send out fine-tuned (overclocked) samples to media. He continues to say that these overclocked samples never actual reach the retail channel.

We knew full well that the cards were overclocked (Radeon X800GTO in this case) but we figured that *ALL* graphics cards from GeCube would carry the same clock speeds. Apparently this is not the case but I'll do some more digging on Monday as business is closed in this part of the world now.

Both GeCube and ATI have been made aware of this already and we're waiting for some answers. Updates to come - this is a serious issue and it will be taken very seriously from our end.
