New AMD SIMA card for ECS PF88 Extreme Hybrid

Unveiled by ECS yesterday is the new A4S SIMA card, a converter card designed for their PF88 Extreme Hybrid motherboard. This is the second add-on conversion card available for the motherboard, allowing for Socket-754 A64 connectivity and support for the latest AMD Turion 64 mobile processors.

Milton Keynes, England, Sept 19th, 2005 - Elitegroup Computer Systems (UK) Ltd (ECS), has today announced its brand new platform converter card for the PF88 Extreme Hybrid motherboard, the A4S SIMA Card. This second add-on conversion card for the PF88, now allows end-users to run the latest AMD Turion™ 64 mobile processors.

The PF88 Extreme Hybrid is the industry's first 64-bit ready motherboard featuring multi-platform support. It can transform an Intel platform to an AMD platform with the use of a SIMA card. Like other ECS Extreme motherboards, the PF88 Extreme also comes with the company's proprietary dynamic overclocking technology, Instant Overclocking Controller (I.O.C.).
