Dell have just recently opted to go with an NVIDIA nForce4 SLI Intel edition powerplant for their new XPS 600 desktop PC, also sporting two 7800 GTX graphics cards. NVIDIA thought it worthy of a dedicated press release.

In addition, QuakeCon 2005 will also play host to the first showing of DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil(tm) for the Xbox(r) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. QUAKE 4 marks the return of id's trademark deathmatch-style multiplayer formula. Online gameplay action in QUAKE 4 is based on the speed, style and overall multiplayer feel found in the popular QUAKE III Arena(r), and allows gamers to play in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Arena, CTF and Tournament modes on the Strogg or Marine teams.
