- Swiftech Introduces H20-APEX Cooling Kit

There's a complete new watercooling kit now on the market from Swiftech, as of a recent announcement. Dubbed the H20-APEX liquid cooling kit, the assortment of components making up this complete new watercooling solution look to be well paired up and thought out.

Full product specifications are listed at this section of Swiftech's website folks.

Signal Hill, CA - Wednesday July 20, 2005 - Swiftech™ today announced the release of the new H20-APEX liquid cooling kit. Designed from the ground-up to take full advantage of the Company's recently released "STORM" water-block, which has been received with unprecedented success by the enthusiast community, this next generation cooling system will satisfy both extremes of the enthusiast market spectrum: overclockers in search of the lowest CPU temperatures, and silent computing users in search of the lowest possible operating noise.

“The H20-APEX kit includes all of Swiftech’s most advanced liquid cooling products to date. It brings extreme performance and silent operations to our most demanding users, taming the most heat-intensive computing systems in the market today, and it does it without sacrificing ease of installation”, states Gabriel Rouchon, Swiftech’s Chairman. Mr. Rouchon goes on to state, “Our VP of Engineering Bill Adams stated it perfectly: You might be able to do it cheaper, but you’d be hard pressed to do it any better”.

- New BETA ForceWare Drivers - 77.76

NVIDIA have just recently released their latest 77.76 ForceWare driver package, and although a BETA release, this new driver brings bridgeless SLI support for 6600 based cards as well as 16x antialiasing SLI rendering capabilities. NVIDIA also report some broader SLI optimizations implemented too, so grab 'em if you're keen and get benching!

The official announcement from NVIDIA can be obtained here.

Now featuring support for GeForce 6600 LE GPUs, NVIDIA’s SLI technology — the ability to use two PCI-Express graphics cards in tandem for unparalleled graphics performance — is extended to lower price points. This reduces the overall cost-of-entry for mainstream consumers wishing to purchase SLI-ready systems or components and increase the flexibility of upgrading their platform in the future.

“NVIDIA SLI technology is changing the landscape of the PC, taking it to new heights of performance and image quality,” said Ujesh Desai, general manager of GeForce GPUs at NVIDIA. “NVIDIA is the only company with a complete multi-GPU ecosystem and with products available today. With complete systems for as low as $799, GPUs for around $70, and NVIDIA nForce™ 4 SLI-based motherboards for around $100, SLI technology is no longer only for PC enthusiasts — we have delivered on our promise to make NVIDIA SLI technology a reality for consumers in all market segments.”
