- GIGABYTE Launches 7800 GTX Card

GIGABYTE have just announced their variant of NVIDIA's new 7800 GTX graphics card. For all the details, grab the official announcement here folks.


Taipei, Taiwan 22nd June, 2005 – GIGABYTE Technology Co. Ltd., a world-leading PC motherboard VGA card manufacturer, today launched the GV-NX78X256V-B, one of the industry’s first next generation high-definition PC Gaming VGA solutions based on the NVIDIA GeForce 7800GTX graphics processor. Following close on the heels of several remarkable VGA card innovations from GIGABYTE this year, such as the proprietary 3D1 series of dual GPU cards, innovative fanless thermal designs that use Silent-pipe cooling technology and the popular GIGABYTE Turbo Force performance tuner, the new GV-NX78X256V-B introduces an incredible 24 pixel pipeline in what is arguably the industry’s most powerful and technically advanced graphics accelerator card. The new flagship VGA card from GIGABYTE also supports a host of industry wide technological advancements such as Microsoft DirectX 9.0C and OpenGL 2.0, and is fully compatible with 64-bit operating systems.


- Albatron Launches 7800 GTX Card

Following suit, Albatron send out a PR highlighting the release of their 7800 GTX card.


Albatron Technology has announced the 7800GTX, a superior, high performance PCIe graphics card using NVIDIA's latest GeForce 7800GTX GPU. This card was built for pure performance boasting twice the capabilities of its predecessor 6800 series.

The GeForce 7800GTX GPU core clock is rated at a speedy 430 MHz. It has been engineered using 0.11 micron process technology and includes 24 pipelines for highly efficient, highly optimized graphics processing. This GPU also supports SLI dual VGA card technology.
