A long lost game, Agent, that we haven't heard anything from since at least 2013 seems to have just resurfaced. At least in the guise of artwork and screenshots by a former employee from Rockstar Games.
Agent was supposed to be an open-world game, much like a lot of the portfolio from Rockstar, that's set during the Cold War in the 1970's. It was originally announced in 2009 and set to be a PS3 exclusive at the time. Instead of the Grant Theft Auto modern-day theme, or even the wild west setting of Red Dead Redemption, you were going to be thrust into the sexy world of intelligence, espionage and political assassinations. Much akin to The Saboteur from EA and Pandemic.
Agent hasn't officially been cancelled, and Take-Two Interactive, when asked about the status of Agent, simply said they hadn't officially announced anything yet. And that was back in 2012.
Could this just be a small tease that has nothing to do with anything? Probably, but until Rockstar or Take-Two officially comment, we officially know nothing. Until then, enjoy the rest of the screenshots depicting a delightful yet dreary location.
