- Chaintech Unveils AE78GTX on NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX

I'm not sure if Chaintech were rightfully in a position to forward on this information just yet, but provided by them earlier today is a press announcement detailing the release of their new AE78GTX video card, based upon NVIDIA's next-gen 7800 GTX GPU of which is due to have it's NDA flicked within the next 24 hours! Be ready for a press release from NVIDIA, followed by a horde of reviews from sites around the globe putting the new powerhouse GPU through its paces.

Chaintech launches the AE78GTX video card on June 21st , 2005, features the hottest NVIDIA Geforce 7800 GTX GPU provides the best –in-class performance on today’s games and applications needs.

Chaintech AE78GTX is designed to fit 256 bit memory interface, with the 256MB DDR3 SDRAM, which can provide 38.4 GB per second memory bandwidth. Chaintech AE78GTX offers 430 MHz engine clock and 1200 MHz memory clock (256MB), its highest performance and speed is certainly unequaled.



- SATA II Symposium Presentation

Both Western Digital and LSI Logic conducted a presentation in Boston (USA) just recently which pioneers the roll-out of SATA II technology, covering such information as that of RAID 6, SATA II functionalities and features, native command queuing advantages, and other informative content which would be a great readup for anyone wanting to get more of a grasp on the benefits to be had from SATA-II.
