League of Legends fans will know about pro team Gravity Gaming, well - soon they'll be known as Echo Fox. The reason for the name change? Rick Fox just purchased the team.

Rick Fox is an actor and ex-NBA player, who just acquired Gravity Gaming and will be renaming the pro League of Legends team at the beginning of 2016. Gravity Gaming made two top six finishes in the League of Legends spring and summer seasons in the US, but didn't qualify for the world championship. It's being reported by Daily Doy that Gravity Gaming cost Fox $1 million.

Fox, who was once married to Vanessa Williams, also starred on HBO's his prison drama 'Oz'. He played basketball for North Carolina, and hit the winning shot to beat No. 1 seed Oklahoma in the 1990 NCAA tournament. Fox played 13 seasons in the NBA, taking out three NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers.
