- Driver Cleaner Professional Edition - Updated (v1.2)

I wouldnt be without this wonderful little tool after the kind lads at DriverHeaven brought it to my attention not too long ago. They've been continually working on and revising their "Driver Cleaner" utility which makes the process of updating video and chipset drivers so much smoother, in turn keeping your OS cleaner and running more efficiently. Here's the full rundown on Driver Cleaner, extracted from the official site :-

Driver Cleaner Professional Editon is a program which helps you to remove parts of drivers that are left after uninstalling the old drivers. The program is for ATI, nVidia, Creative, Realtek, SIS, 3Dfx, S3 and more drivers. First you need to uninstall the drivers from the control panel, then reboot. After rebooting, run the program. If you really want a good description of what steps you should take, then you really need to read the readme file included in the zip file and installation as it contains a detailed step by step description. The program also fully supports windows themes and other kind of themes.

In bringing this to the attention of those who weren't already aware of the util, i'll also mention that a new version was released just before the weekend under the further improved and advanced "Professional Edition" nametag, taking the revision up to 1.2. Fixes and enhancements can be read over at this thread located within DriverHeaven's forums, and you can grab your copy from the direct link here folks.
