Author: Steve Dougherty

This more so of interest to our fellow aussie gamers down under, ABIT have just reported that the qualifying period has concluded for all aussie competitors involved in this year's worldwide ACON5 gaming event. The winners will now head off to the australian regional finals in Sydney which is set to take place on the 21st of this month, it is here that they'll take on the current ACON5 seeded players for a step further towards victory. We aim to attend the venue on this day so as to provide you with all the hot coverage as it unfolds, so stay tuned for that too!

Lets wish them best of luck, although i've faith they wont need it! :)

Congratulations to these players! It has been tough, and they've been through some hardcore competition to make it to the Australian Regional Finals. They should all now be razor sharp when they take on the ACON5 seeded players at Sydney Gamers' League (The Atrium) at Macquarie University on the 21st of May. Players need to register at 10 a.m, and competitions will begin between 10.30 – 11.00 a.m.

All remaining competitors should have received an information email, plus new Terms and Conditions and Player Rules. ALL players will need to reply to be confirmed into the Australian Regional Finals. If you've qualified or have been seeded for ACON5 and haven't received this email, check your junk mail folder. Otherwise, contact dave@cbnmedia.com.au. Remember, all players must bring their passports to the event.
