If you enjoy your cosplay and were hoping to dress up as your favourite 'Star Wars' character during screenings of 'The Force Awakens', you might want to check which cinema you're going to first, as the biggest theater chain in the United States; Cinemark, bans patrons from bringing toy lightsabres or blaster weapons to showings of the eagerly awaited sequel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the chain has advised patrons that while "Star Wars costumes are welcome". But "no face coverings, face paint or simulated weapons (including lightsabers/blasters) will be allowed in the building". So no Darth Maul makeup, no Darth Vader mask, no Han Solo blaster and certainly no Luke Skywalker Lightsabers.

Not banned however is Slave Leia bikinis, or Princess Leia buns.
