Not long after the iOS 9 release hit our shores, Apple has pushed out an iOS 9.0.1 update in order to fix some dirty issues experienced by many. The main brunt of the change log includes fixes to issues such as users being unable to complete their setup assistant after updating and an issue where alarms and timers would simply not chime.

Two other major changes included the pausing of videos being no longer distorted in Safari and Photos and the fixing of an issue where some custom APN's setup through a profile would cause phones to lose its data connection.

While the timer and alarm bug is most certainly a frustrating one for those who rely on smartphones to wake up in the morning, the slide to upgrade bug is the most important to be fixed. This issue saw many iPhone users being completely powerless, unable to upgrade to the latest iOS offering. While these fixes are great, there are always more bugs to fix and we'll keep you updated on the progress.
