Is there a 4K-capable Roku on its way?

In a world where '4K' is the new buzzword, it looks like Roku is working on a new 4K-capable streaming box. It should come as no surprise, but the Roku 4 should be announced soon, rocking 4K support.

The news is coming from UKRokuChannels, which found a 4K Showcase on the platform's channel store, which was quickly pulled by Roku. Back in January, Roku teased that it was working on a 4K reference design, and with Amazon unveiling its new Fire TV, it was only a matter of time before Roku stopped all over that fun.

Then there's the other side of the rumor, which would see Roku releasing a spruced up Roku 3 with 4K support. We should find out in the coming weeks, hopefully.
