PC's for Kids

BobTheMonkey alerted me about the PC's for Kids program running at the moment in Australia.

 

PC's for Kids Incorporated is a project to assist "Less Fortunate Children" obtain their 1st home computer. Our aim is to help bridge the wide gap of our digital divide; between the "Haves and the Have Nots". We all know how important it is to perform research on a computer, there are many from our society who do not have the means to obtain any "IT" equipment through no fault of their own. During year 2000, PC's for Kids Inc delivered over 600 computer systems; this was only made possible with assistance and the generosity from our community.

 

If you are based in Australia and have any legal software or computer parts you no longer need, donate them to a worthy cause
