- Transcend wins Design Award for StoreJet 1.8” Portable HDD
This just in from Transcend. They've recently received the "2005 iF Product design award" for their StoreJet 1.8” Portable Hard Disk Drive. More details on their achievement within the official PR. Further info on the device itself here.

- nForce Professional MCP emerges
Today NVIDIA have announced their latest nForce Professional media and communications processors, designed for use in conjunction with AMD's server/workstation based Opteron processors. This is an industry first for the Opteron with full PCI-Express core-logic amongst a bunch of other outstanding features. You can read NVIDIA's announcement in detail over at their press room.
