- MSI K8N Diamond (NVIDIA nForce4 SLI)

When MSI released their K8N Platinum Pro motherboard on nForce3 Ultra some time ago, it was hard not to take a strong liking to it. Features'a'plenty, rock solid performance, and exceptional overclocking results. Just recently they announced their latest top-end enthusiast motherboard based on the kickarse new nForce4 SLI chipset, say hi to the "K8N Diamond". Hardware Zone take it for a spin today and unsurprisingly have many good things to say about the board. Pity there's no 1x PCIe slots though!

Just recently we published the MSI GeForce 6600 GT PCIe SLI Performance Review utilizing MSI's own NVIDIA nForce4 SLI motherboard to conduct all testing. We promised you readers that we would cover the motherboard in complete detail in a forthcoming article and that brings us to today’s review of the MSI K8N Diamond.

It is one of two motherboard variants from MSI that is based on the NVIDIA nForce4 SLI Media Communications Processor (MCP), which gives owners a unique performance upgrade path and the chance to experience tomorrow’s graphics card performance today.
