Intel has partnered with ESL, the world's largest eSPorts company, for the 10th season of the Intel Extreme Masters gaming tournament. Designed as a tournament for elite pro gamers, the elite gamers will have the chance to square off while playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, StarCraft II, and League of Legends.
The IEM tournament will stop in Shenzhen, China (July 16-20), Cologne, Germany (August 5-9), San Jose, USA (November 21-22), Cologne Germany (December 2015), and in Asia - with the Katowice World Championship scheduled for Poland (March 2016).
"The success and the legacy of the Intel Extreme Masters was partly built on Counter-Strike and it's a great feeling to go into the tenth season of the circuit with CS:GO back in it," said Michal Blicharz, Managing Director of Pro Gaming at ESL. "Adding a third game makes this IEM season the largest in years!"
