Think 2.5" notebook hdd's are tiny? Try this for size, XBit take a closer look at Seagate's new 5GB ST1 hard drive which is only a mere 1 inch in physical size. It makes use of a CompactFlash interface for connectivity and looks to be a great performing little storage unit at a fraction of the cost outlayed on comparably sized memory cards.
Today we would like to introduce to you a new one-inch hard disk drive from Seagate supporting CompactFlash interface. Based on the regular HDD architecture (featuring platters and heads), this product proved very fast, very reliable and robust against external physical vibrations and shock.
