- Corsair Announces Entry Into Flash Media Market

Corsair are officially covering new ground as of today with an announcement supporting their entry into the Flash media market. They are now offering families of USB 2.0 flash drives along with Secure Digital (SD) cards. You can get a closer look at the new flash products over at this section of Corsair's website folks.

Fremont, CA, December 8, 2004: Corsair Memory, Inc., a global leader in ultra-performance DDR memory modules for PC gamers and enthusiasts, today announced the company's entry into the flash media market with new families of USB 2.0 flash drives and Secure Digital (SD) cards.

Corsair's USB Flash Voyager products are high capacity thumb-sized portable storage devices that are ideal for transporting presentations, photos, MP3's, and other files. These USB drives are as stylish as they are durable, featuring a unique retro looking rubber casing that is water resistant. Capable of blazing fast 19 Megabyte per second sustained read speeds, these devices are fully Hi-Speed USB 2.0 compliant, and are backward compatible to USB 1.1. Corsair will begin shipping these USB Flash Voyager drives immediately to resellers worldwide.
