Hi-Rez studios has announced a move from a PC-only focus into the console market with their recent release of SMITE BETA for Xbox One.

The MOBA genre is known as the most popular in the world and it's not uncommon to see gaming developers and publishers try different methods of user engagement in FPS and Racing type games, but we're now seeing this monolith field make the jump.

Setting you back around $32 for a claimed $48 of value, the SMITE founder's pack will give you closed beta access, every hero available and a bunch of free skins.

We're interested to see how it performs as generally MOBA style games will require quick mouse reactions and constant keyboard button presses, we're interested to see if this skill can transfer to the console scene.
