- Corsair Announces System Select: Upgrades Made Easy

Corsair have made a scene today with the launch of their online html based "Corsair Memory Configurator" tool and new "System Select" memory product line. Together, these make for a clearer upgrade path without worrying about whats compatible with what, highlighting better performance modules for that particular platform at the same time.

The press release with full details can be had here, and you can get to Corsair's System Select product page here folks.

Fremont, CA, November 23, 2004: Corsair Memory, Inc., a global leader in ultra-performance DDR memory modules for PC gamers and enthusiasts, today announced System Select, a new memory product line specifically designed to meet the needs of consumers and IT professionals in the upgrading of their desktops, laptops, and servers.

The System Select product line takes the guesswork out of upgrading everything from a personal laptop to a corporate server. There are no compatibility charts to consult and no hard decisions to make. The Corsair Memory Configurator makes finding the right System Select module easy. Simply search for the brand and model of your system and the configurator does the rest, recommending a module guaranteed to not only work with your system but also enhance its performance as well.

- Enermax Multi-Function Panel

On the lookout for a classy well constructed multi-function panel to go into your shiny new case? Enermax have one that may well be just what you're after. The best thing about this particular unit would have to be the external SATA plugs, making for a very easy means of hot swapping / attaching SATA hard disks. Nice one!

I put this Multi-Function Control panel through its paces and overall I think it has merit. For those of you that are lacking in empty 5.25 bays it will give you the most bang for the buck. This unit may be for those of you that would like to add the hot plug Sata function. If your looking for a 5.25 bay device that does a bit of everything this unit has it and then some. Maybe just a little ahead of its time with the external sata plugs, but I am sure more sata devices are just around the corner.
