New goodies from Transcend

The Transcend crew have announced a couple of new products today. Starting with with their StoreJet 1.8" Portable HDD, it's a 40GB storage device which is a mere 1.8" in size and utilizes USB 2.0 connectivity. The device can be powered directly via the same USB cable for data transfer making it that much easier in terms of it's primary (portable) use. The StoreJet is also offered in a 20gb model. Transcend Information Inc. (Transcend) releases their high capacity StoreJet 1.8” portable hard drive with new security and backup features. With data and power directly transferred via a single USB cable, the StoreJet 1.8” is an ideal, cost-effective external storage solution for any desktop or notebook computer.

Transcend’s StoreJet 1.8” now includes the StoreJet Software Pack: ExBoot Express, PC Lock, Security HDD, My Documents, Mobile Internet Explorer Favorites, Mobile Outlook Express and Address Book Editor. ExBoot Express provides full backup and synchronization with your computer. PC Lock & Security HDD keeps your data private and secure. Mobile Internet Explorer Favorites and Mobile Outlook Express allow you to carry your email anywhere you want.



Next up, we see their new JetFlash MP3 multifunctional device surface which features a rather compact design with a nifty looking blue backlit LCD and penti-directional joystick. The JetFlash comes in a range of colors and the ability to purchase in either 128MB, 256MB, 512MB or 1GB sizes. Once again, you can get to all the details within the supporting PR here folks.
