VIA announced at 2:30PM Taiwan time that the chipset underdog VIA will be producing their own P4X266 based motherboards.

Due to the legal issues between Intel and VIA, motherboard vendors are quite scared of Intel's wrath and have decided not to produce any P4X266 based board, VIA sollution is a welcomed one for the users who want the P4 but not the RDRAM or SDRAM sollutions.
