- GeIL Online Store available for US customers

GeIL USA have today given us the heads up on the launch of their direct online buying store as another means to browse and purchase their extensive range of memory products along with a section dedicated to marketing products like t-shirts and gadgets for the fans. Buying through the site is currently restricted to U.S. customers however.

- OCZ and Inphi® Corp. Introduce ZB-DDR

Another memory related press release for the day, this being from OCZ announcing quite an interesting and technical innovation. Tied with Inphi Corporation, they've announced the release of Zero-Buffer DDR (ZB-DDR) technology (patent pending) for unbuffered memory modules. Want to know more? OCZ Technology Group, a world leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high-reliability memory, in a collaborative effort with Inphi Corporation (www.inphi-corp.com), a leader in precision timing and high-speed electronic components, announced the release of Zero-Buffer DDR (ZB-DDR) technology (patent pending) for unbuffered memory modules.

Using discreet zero-delay clock buffers, ZB-DDR technology combines the robustness of server class memory with the low latency of unbuffered modules, resulting in better data integrity, lower noise, and lower susceptibility to interference over a wider frequency spectrum while still remaining fully compatible with all current motherboards.
