- Albatron WIDIO Wireless Audio System

PCStats have taken a look at yet another wireless audio device for your personal needs. It's good to see that companies around the globe are taking note and realising just how useful these types of devices actually are to the home theatre/pc enthusiast nowadays. The next mob to jump aboard the wireless media player market is Albatron, and it would appear that based on PCStat's findings they dont fall short in their efforts to produce a quality and competitive product yet again, with some distinct uniqueness about this one for good measure.

The Albatron Widio Deluxe wireless audio receiver and transmitter is a small glossy white and green i-Pod sized device which allows users to listen to music at distances of up to 50m (164 feet) from the audio source. The Widio system is not dependent on any computer hardware, and only requires a power source and audio input for its base station (transmitter) to function. The Widio requires no software drivers, and can be used with a PC, stereo, X-Box, Play Station, CD-player, home theatre system, or any other device which has an audio-out jack; either mini-headphone, or left/right RCA to be specific.
