Anti-Piracy Taken A Step Futher
The war against software pirates has been raging for some time now, but there's a new kid on the block in the realm of anti-pirating technology - FADE.
If it detects that the disc is a pirated copy, it will gradually introduce anomalies and lock out certain game features as it is being played.
Anyone playing a pirate version of the PlayStation 2 game World Championship Snooker 2002 will see their snooker balls doing U-turns, wobbling left and right and defying the laws of geometry and physics.
