- XPC SN95G5 on sale now

Shuttle have kindly informed us today that their most highly anticipated small form factor to date, the Athlon64 s939 based SN95G5 is now hitting retail shelves. Being the first of it's kind, these are certain to sell like hotcakes. You can read up on all the details in Shuttle's press release here folks.


(Taipei, Taiwan — August 20, 2004) Shuttle Inc, a leading designer and manufacturer of small form factor (SFF) computers and accessories, is pleased to announce that the world’s first AMD Athlon™64 (Socket 939) compatible XPC is now available at retail. This top-of-the-line SFF has earned rave reviews from the media and users everywhere have clamored for its early release.

“The XPC SN95G5 is the first Socket 939 Athlon™64 SFF solution,” said Jonathon Yi, vice-president of product planning. “With its bleeding-edge performance features, we expect to sell through this production run quickly.”



- GigaByte Release New nVidia PCIe Range

Not long after the official launch of nVidia's 6600 series GPU's at this year's QuakeCon, Gigabyte have today announced their new lineup of cards covering the 6600 range. Their GV-NX66T256D is the highest-end of the three, utilizing the SLI'able GT core with 256mb's of DDR III, and a copy of Doom III to boot! Whilst the midrange GV-NX66T128D is the lower priced 128mb variant, with copies of Thief, Joint Operations, and Typhoon Rising thrown into the deal. Finally completing their 6600 lineup is the vanilla GV-NX66128D based on the lower clocked 6600 core with 128mb of DDR I memory and a trimmed down bundle pack.
