"All curves are not created equal. Samsung's SE790C offers an industry-leading and award-winning curvature for a truly immersive, comfortable and differentiating viewing experience," claims Samsung's Senior Vice President of the Visual Display Business, Seoggi Kim.
The tech-giant has just pushed a press release, claiming a soon-to-be launch of their brand-new 3000R (curvature radius of 3,000mm) monitor, the SE70C. Said to closely match the natural curve of the human eye, this monitor is claimed by the manufacturer to create a distortion-free viewing experience with less eye strain for all.
Incorporating a 21:9 aspect ratio and an ULTRA-WQHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, the SE790C has a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees, a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and 300 CD/m2 typical brightness. There are some handy features included out of the box including Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture capabilities, alongside two 7-watt stereo speakers located within the build.
With the ability to mount on your wall via VESA brackets, this monitor also offers USB 3.0 super-charging ports and a four millisecond response time.
This 34-inch monitor doesn't have a release date quoted within the release, nor a price. Expect it to hit the market in 2015 and don't expect it to be cheap.
