Heading off to QuakeCon tomorrow

Published: 11th August 2004 @ 9:18 AM
Author: Cameron Wilmot

I'm flying out to Dallas, Texas tomorrow from Australia for QuakeCon which is said to be one of the biggest gaming events in the world. We'll be there to cover all the hits and blows as they happen - both with video and still picture coverage.

I fly out early AM Australian Eastern Standard Time on the 12th of August and arrive at LAX around 7am on the same day. Jet lag is going to be very interesting especially since I'll be heading off to Dallas just a couple hours later from LA then it's time to check out the QuakeCon happenings.

Our buddies at nVidia have told us they will have a few surprises for us there and we'll be sure to report back with live coverage from the event as it happens from the Gaylord Texas Resort – stay tuned!
