- ACON4 Place Your Bets Contest Winners Announced

Although the results of the ACON4 finals were announced some time ago now, a contest for outsiders had been taking place alongside it by the name of the "Place Your Bets Contest". This consisted of 6,563 freely entered participants which were to guess which of the ACON4 finalists would reign supreme. People who guessed correctly were entered into a random drawing for the number 1 prize, the ACON4 SuperSystem. Turns out a X. Y. Zheng from China was the lucky chap to get his hands on that. Full details on final results, overall vote tallies, and prizes can be read within ABIT's official press release.

July 30, 2004 - The finals may be over, but the winning doesn't stop. A total of 6,563 people participated in the ACON4 Place Your Bets Contest, which had each participant guess as to which of the ACON4 finalists would take home the title of ACON4 World Champion. Those who picked the 1st place finalist were entered in a random drawing for the 1st place prize - the ACON4 SuperSystem valued at USD$3,000. Those who picked the 2nd place finisher were drawn for the 2nd place prize and so on.
