DangerousDog has just posted a review of the Akasa Silver Mountain HSF. here's a snip:


"Using a standard cooler with a low power fan simply isn't sufficient for some of these monster CPUs anymore, which is why we have Akasa, a previously unknown company, attempting something new here. they've created a solid copper cooler which has been plated in silver for maximum heat dissipation. When I first saw this thing it literally had me drooling in anticipation, even if the unit doesn't perform quite on par with some of the best, it has to be one of the sexiest looking coolers you can get your hands on :) But does this unit actually perform as well as we'd all like? Lets find out..."
