- Intel Delivers New Low Power Intel Pentium M and Intel Celeron M Processors

An announcement from Intel earlier today informs us of four additions to their Pentium & Celeron M line of low powered mobile chips. Produced on a 90-nanometer manufacturing process and tuned for very low voltages, the new chips are of course aimed at mini-notebooks, sub-notebooks, and tablet PC's. These new offerings From Intel include the "738" (1.4GHz), "733" (1.1GHz) and "723" (1GHz), as well as an ultra low voltage "353" (900mhz) Celeron variant. Aside from a nice little clock boost, an extra helping of cache is also included on these new Dothan chips to help push things along. Intel's new offerings include the Intel Pentium M processor Low Voltage 738, the Intel Pentium M processor Ultra-Low Voltage 733 and 723, and the Intel Celeron M processor Ultra Low Voltage 353. All four processors are based on Intel's mobile micro-architecture and built using Intel's industry-leading high-volume 90-nanometer (nm) process technology.
