Motorola Keylink lets you find your lost keys with your smartphone

Motorola debuts Keylink, a $25 device that will find your lost keys using your smartphone

The amount of times that I've misplaced my keys, without a way to find them, but Motorola has just unveiled something that we all need: Keylink.

Motorola's Keylink is a tiny little device that attaches to your keyring, emitting a noise from your connected smartphone when you want to find your lost keys. What if you have your keys, but not your smartphone? Motorola has thought of that, too, with a button on Keylink that can be pressed which will play your smartphone's ringer.

Keylink is also capable of unlocking certain Motorola smartphones when you're in a specific range, with the second-generation Moto X, Droid Turbo, or any other Android 5.0 Lollipop-based smartphone capable of this. You'll need to alter the Trusted Devices settings on your smartphone, so that it will keep it unlocked while the Keylink is within range, re-enabling it with a passcode, or any other security if the two devices are separated.
