- OCZ - DDR Voltage Booster
OCZ have a product release doing the rounds this evening, announcing their DDR Voltage Booster which effectively provides a cleaner more adjustable voltage control (via the use of a dial) to your memory modules, also sporting a digital VDIMM readout. Voltage can be set all the way up to a very scary 3.9v!, Kee-ripes. More details within the official press release over at their website.
The DDR Booster uses OCZ Technology Group's patent pending Powerclean technology to supply cleaner power to the memory module, thereby increasing memory stability and optimizing performance. A digital VDIMM readout and voltage adjustment control dial enables the user to adjust the VDIMM (VDD and VDDQ) voltage to a maximum of 3.9 volts .
