- Zalman ZM-RSA

Zalman have been venturing into the audio area of the market (aside from cooling) for a little while now, and offering some surpringly unique and useful products. Their ZM-RSA is more evidence of this, basically a headphones amplifier, obviously to suit their popular ZM-RS6F surround headphones, but i'm sure it'd work well for many other types of headphones too. Datafuse take a short and sweet look at the device for us on the weekend.

It is quite obvious what Zalman is doing, they are building out their entire 5.1 sound system. This amplifier works splendid with the Surround Sound Headphone they introduced last year.

One of the issues with the ZM-RS6F (surround headphone) was that you couldnt control the volume. In theory it seems the volume knob cant be integrated in the 5.1 headphone. Anyways, this amp gives you the oppurtunity to control your headphones volume.

- Buying into High Definition

The folks over at Short-Media have a fresh guide up this weekend which goes into much detail about picking up a brand spankin' new HDTV. There are a lot of different options out there, all suited to different lifestyles. The guide helps minimize the confusion across the range, giving you a broader perspective on which purchase is ideal and best suited to your budget. A well written article that deserves a favorites link if you think you'll be heading out on the hunt any time soon.

This article covers the basics and puts you on a better footing to choose your first or, for the lucky ones, next High Definition Television. As there are "audiophiles" high definition television has spawned a whole new crop of "videophiles." There will be constant debate over which format and type of TV is the best so don't get too caught up in it. Get the basics down and learn to ask questions about what you want, what you watch and where you watch rather than what everyone else has.
