October 4, 2001 - OCZ Technology Group releases the OCZ Dominator² HSF. The Dominator² includes features such as increased fin density, textured fin technology, and single-piece construction.
"By increasing fin density from the original dominator to the new design we were able to increase performance beyond that of any other heatsink available", said Armando Talamantez, VP Product Development. "In addition single piece construction allows for lower thermal resistance."
