The production stand-off that saw a halt to filming on the eighth season of CBS and Warner Brothers long running TV show 'The Big Bang Theory's eighth season is now over, following the studios acquiescence of key stars Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco demands which will see them triple their salaries to $1 million per episode, including an increased proportion of back-end profits.

The long running show is not only the world's number one comedy right now, but it has also proven to be a huge success in syndication, with re-runs pulling in extremely impressive numbers for broadcasters, making for an extremely lucrative program which is why CBS and Warner Brothers were so keen to finalise the stand-off, which will now run for at least a further three seasons. The stars generous payday now mirrors that secured by stars of 'Friends' during its final seasons.

The eighth season of 'The Big Bang Theory' is expected to premier in late September.
