Daily News Round #1

- Global Win Travel Box

The folks from Madshrimps have checked out a different type of product from GlobalWin today, it provides you with a portable means of moving your hard disk around via a choice of either firewire or USB 2.0 connectivity, effectively making the unit a simple solution to moving your drive around from PC to PC. However, it's lack of cooling ability looks to be a bit of a letdown, their next upcoming revision is supposedly going to address that though.

Eurobizz.de sent us Global Win's solution for converting any old PATA hard drive into an external storage device. The Travel Box has sleek looks and provides USB 2.0 and Firewire connections at the back of the unit. There is also a pass-through port so you can daisy chain other USB devices to this unit.
