- NVIDIA announces acquisition of iReady

nVidia have just forwarded a press release announcing that they've acquired new and more sophisticated networking/storage technologies from privately held company, iReady Corp. They are providers of high performance TCP/IP and iSCSI solutions and are able to offer full transport offloading for superior performance ethernet networking, meaning we'll soon be seeing an advancement in the area of nVidia's networking features on their future motherboard chipsets. SINGAPORE — APRIL 23, 2004 — NVIDIA Corporation, the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that it has acquired the technology assets of iReady Corp., a provider of high performance TCP/IP and iSCSI offload solutions. The assets include intellectual property, patents, and patent applications. A core group of iReady engineers has accepted positions at NVIDIA. Terms of the agreement were not announced.
