- Spotlight on Zalman

Zalman have come a long way in a short time since their launch back in Jan'99, offering some of the best silent cooling solutions on the market, not to mention their expanding product line in the way of PSU's and audio related accessories. The folks at Accelnation have put the spotlight on the company along with an insight to some of their award winning products such as the CNPS-7000A-Cu CPU cooler and ZM400B-APS 400 Watt power supply.

Founded in January 1999, this South Korean Company quickly became established as a producer of effective and stylish cooling solutions. The modular approach demonstrated by their very first CPU cooler (CNPS2001), set a design trend that culminated in the 2003 award winning CNPS7000 cooler reviewed in this article. Mass production and exports began in 2001, and in 2002 the Company opened a branch in the United States. The first product to really catch the attention of buyers in the West was the fanless CNPS3000 range that emerged onto the world stage early in 2001. This was such an eye-catching design next to the conventional aluminum block coolers that everyone immediately knew that here was a Company that meant business! Today Zalman is respected worldwide for their PC cooling solutions.

- Thermaltake's XController LED Light 4 Channel VR Fan Kit

TechTastic have gone crazy with a bunch of reviews on various products from Thermaltake in recent weeks, the latest of which takes a look at the XController. If you're on the lookout for a decent fan controller for your rig, Techtastic seem to think it does the job as well as any and it looks pretty classy too.

If you've got multiple fans in your computer rig, one great way to handle the noise is to use a fan bus. One such controller from Thermaltake is their new Xcontroller. This no frills, straight up four channel controller features a tri-colored LED system that corresponds to each fans speed.
