- Western Digital Raptor WD740GD

WD have certainly kicked a goal releasing their 10,000rpm Raptor series of hard drives, offering far superior performance for a warranted price. Hardware Zone rev up their 74GB model for review which is proven to be even faster than the 36gb model initially released some time back. If you've the $$$ and want blitzing SATA performance, check this puppy out.

The Western Digital Raptor just got bigger, better and faster with the recent introduction of their latest 10,000RPM Raptor drive based on the latest Serial ATA interface. The previous Raptor had a smaller capacity of only 36GB while this latest predator is packed with double the amount of space. Known not so much of being a SATA drive for the average consumer, Western Digital is redefining this new range of drives for the enterprise environment. For those who don't already know, these high performance drives were built with the same kind of reliability one can expect from enterprise class SCSI drives - which explains why WD is providing a generous warranty period of five years.

- MSI MEGA 180 Mini-PC

If you're hunting for a feature rich SFF system based on the still highly popular AMD nForce2 platform, they don't come better than this as far as i'm concerned. THG check out MSI's MEGA 180 Mini-PC, offering several unique features and abilities you won't find in other SFF pc's. I certainly can't hold back from buying one of these at some stage soon.

A year ago, MSI released the MEGA PC, a paradoxical name standing for MSI Entertainment Gaming Appliance. To stress its difference, MSI added hi-fi functions that confirm its appearance midway between computer and music system. And now the MEGA 180 enhances the MEGA PC series even further.
