The Galaxy S5 is one of the freshest smartphones on the market, but Samsung is already cutting the price of its latest flagship in the third largest smartphone market in the world, India.

Samsung has cut the price from $860 to $775, close to $100 off its original off-contract price. The Galaxy S5 is selling well, so one of the main reasons for the price drop is to be on an even more offensive stance because of the release of HTC's One M8 smartphone.
