Daily News Round #1
- Soundcard Roundup
Looking for a decent soundcard? the folks at CPU3D have a roundup going between a few of the popular solutions on the market. These cover the Audigy 1 & 2, Hercules Fortissimo GSIII, and of course, nVidia's very successful onboard soundstorm.
OK - Here we are for another review from AMD3D. This time I've done this one out of interest rather than being a new product. A month or so back I was in the market for a midrange soundcard and discovered that reviews don't stretch very far on the internet for soundcards. Seems its something a lot of people overlook soundcards, with the constantly improving onboard people don't bother. Also if you are just building your awesome rig you just go for a big expensive card without taking much consideration for what your buying.
- Thermaltake Xaser V: Damier Series Case
OC Cafe have taken a look at one of TT's new line of Xaser cases, this one dubbed the "Damier". With a rather unique checkerboard appearance, you'll either love it or hate it. In terms of everything else about the case, it looks to be a solid improvement over their XaserIII line.
Thermaltake has been making aftermarket PC equipment for longer than I can remember. From their frosty coolers to their towering cases, the one thing that all their products have in common has been quality. We've reviewed pretty much their full line of cases here at the 'Cafe and today we've got an opportunity to crawl inside the newest case in the Xaser line, the Xaser V: Damier Series.
