If you are in the market for a new smartphone and you like Samsung branded products, check this out. Samsung has its latest Windows Phone 8 device up for pre-order at Verizon. Typically, when we talk Samsung smartphones they are powered by Android.

This one runs Windows Phone 8 and looks pretty good. The smartphone has a 5-inch full HD resolution AMOLED display and a 2.3GHz quad-core processor. That processor has 2GB of RAM along with it.

Samsung crams 16GB of storage space inside the smartphone. The rear camera is a 13MP unit with autofocus and the ability to shoot full HD video. The front camera is a 2MP unit. Power comes from a 2600mah internal battery good for up to 20 hours of use per charge.

Bluetooth 3.0 is integrated into the phone. Presumably, GPS is built-in but I see no mention in the specs. The ATIV SE is available with a new 2-year contract for $199.99 or for $599.99 with no contract. If you opt for the contract, you can get second phone free with its own 2-year activation.
