- Red Hat Announces End-of-Life for 7.x, 8.0

For those of you out there who have been using Red Hat Linux and still do now, it seems the 7.x and 8.0 Series of their distribution has reached the end of life. And people complain about Microsoft ending support of six year old products...

Dear Red Hat Linux 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 8.0 customers,

In accordance with our errata support policy, the Red Hat Linux 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 8.0 distributions have now reached their errata maintenance end-of-life.

This means that we will no longer be producing security, bugfix, or enhancement updates for these products. Red Hat Linux 9 reaches end of life on April 30, 2004
