- VIA and Apex Digital Introduce the First Personal Gaming Console

 

VIA have teamed up with Apex Digital to release the new "ApeXtreme Personal Gaming Console", a console that's 100% compatible with pc game titles along with the ability to perform all sorts of other multimedia tasks, tied in with the inclusion of S3's Deltachrome gfx accelerator (also capable of native Hi-Def HDTV support), this here looks to be a potential SFF killer with availability coming in two flavours at US$299 and US$399 respectively.
